Get the money converted from a Bank into the currency u want it to be in... (Say $'s) only if u want it to b taxable... & legaly declared
Else there are several foreign currency exchangers (agents, mostly who gets foreign Visa's done) out there!!
Get it converted from them as they would pay you enough value of ~> £ to $ & wont charge any Tax on it!
Wishing u great holidays ahead!!
;-)

Hi -
Since the the cheque is in your name I see no reason as to why you should get into any trouble for cashing it. Make sure you do it properly at a bank because if the cheque has been cancelled then you wont get the money nor will you get into any trouble.
Legally if a cheque is in your name then it is your cheque , at least that's my way of interpreting the law.
Enjoy your holiday . . . .

Dear buddy! You need to certainly not ever believe someone on web , falling in love is a distant factor! Does he realize whether or not honestly the individual he's falling out for is a gal or a man? What men and women intend to mention on web might not be honestly what they suppose , inform your buddy to not placed it as Love. It can at so much be a overwhelm! and don't need to be taken extra!

Yes, your name is on it so it is yours BUT I am not familiar with "kleeneze". But lately some companies are sending out checks--with some fine print---if you sign and cash this check, you are committing yourself to something. Make sure that you are not committing yourself to something that may be very problematic. Other than that, cash and enjoy.

This is a common sense question. If your name is on the check, cash it.Put some in the bank and take the rest on holiday with you. What's you panic about?Do what you want with it.It's your check.

You say the money was meant for you? If it's meant for you what is the problem? If it is yours pay it into the bank and then spend the money. If it's not yours, you need to return it.
