I read an article in the latest issue of 'Details'. The woman who wrote it thought men who wore leather jackets were insecure and just looked ridiculous.
My wife bought me one some years back and I wear it constantly. The thing that's surprised me is who many women come up and say, "Nice jacket." To which I reply, "Thanks, my wife bought it for me." And then they get disappointed.
I think the woman who wrote the article just met @ssholes wearing these jackets.

I think that men that where leather jackets look great as long as the man wearing it is not afraid of soap and water. I've seen many a man look very undesirable due to the lack of cleanliness. I've been in the biker world for many years and let me say that it's not the clothes you wear that make you secure or confident, it is the person inside that make the clothes look good or not. Attitude can either make you or break you and confidence comes from within. So where that jacket your wife bought for you with pride and know that she must love you a lot to buy you this leather jacket, I know because I also bought my o'l man one. Wear it with pride.

In depends on the style of the jacket, but yes leather jackets on some men do look good

It depends on the style. But, I think a nice black leather jacket looks good on most men. It is a classy, clean cut look. You can wear black leather with jeans or dress clothes. I do not think it is a sign for insecureness.

what type of leather jacket is this ?? Like an old 80's motor cycle jacket or a dressy type , or a modern colored bike jacket ?? You have to expand on the details for me to answer this appropriately

No, I dont like it. It makes me think of Steven Segal. Although you must never judge a book by its cover. I dont know, I just dont like it, unless it's a coloured bike leather jacket, that's really nice.
