all i seem to find on computer is people trying to sell wholesale names is there anywhere to go without paying them for wholesale names

I know your feeling, you are correct that many of the searches, will result in companies trying to sell something.
But do not give up, just keep pluggin away, and refine your searches,
also, determine exactly what it is that you are looking for, names, models, manufacturers names, etc and do searches for it.
Once you know the companies who make the stuff, contact them, and they will tell you who they use to distribute their wares.
going to the library or the web and checking the various yellow pages books for the obvious larger metropolitan areas, will show a large number of wholesale outfits.

Usually directories are the best way to go because you save so much time searching through google for months trying to find the right suppliers. It's great because using 1 directory I found my packaging supplier, jewellery stock, crafts wholesalers & dropshippers for my ebay shop all in one.
