I know some people are selfish and all they want is money and a lot of people that are rich just want more, but life is what you make it and i would not even know what it would be like to have that much money that i could get what ever i wish. but i pay my bills and i have food on the table and a roof over my head and i thank God i do not have to sleep out in the street.
May God bless you

Selfishness is a trait favored in natural selection. So all animals including man is basically selfish. That is the evolutionary dictum. The only means to change this habit is by instituting eugenics - not the Hitlarian pseudoeugenics.

People today are much more materialistic it seems. The more you have the more you want. I am very happy with just having what I need, a home, food on my table, clothes on my back, love of my family and friends, a good job and a decent car. What else could I ask for. As for your other questions, beats me, that's the government and there's not much we can do......hope this helps.
Happy Holidays!

we tend to think other people are not our problem coz we know we live in a world where the majority doesnt have the time nor care. everyone is just trying to secure their own future and family future... its pretty hard, to spend your life going to school, working hard at your job, then thinking of having to give to someone who didnt help you earn it. the reasoning is sound, but the word selfish makes it horrid. what can we do? you cant end the worlds dilemma's nor can you help out everyone... unless you could give a million to each last person. as for tax and the government - that can go hang under a crocodile infested bridge.

i think MTV promotes this "more is more" mentality with shows like cribs and my "super sweet sixteen." All they show now is rich spoiled people and young people are influenced by that.
