Tough question ! But I will try. Was going thru same situation so might be able to help. I thought, rather I believed it was over - but for the sake of children, society and the thought of having to single handedly manage things did make me hold on for some extra time. Then one fine day I felt enough is enough - thats the time I gave it my last and best shot. In your case DO all the things that would make him/her happy (even if it upsets you) for a while .... say a week. If there is no improvement in your partner and u feel miserable then its time to say bye bye.

Its over...and what do u mean by "sticking together"...are u saying having sex. If u are that may be the only thing that is keeping u to together and that is not a healthy relationship.

Change, and the unknown is hard for some people. Even though you're unhappy, you just might find the unknown too uncomfortable. You need a dose of courage to move on. Good luck!

Because love is blind, half man or woman is better then non,most are afraid to move on and look for the right person,we wait for right person to find us,'may never happen"or if it dose it is to late,One should never stay in relationship that there not happy in!

Because it's hard to disentangle yourself from another person's life when you've been together for a while. It's part habit and part fear. One of you needs to get it out in the open and end it so you can start to move on with your lives...

Comfort' You are in a comfort zone. IT could be that you or he is afraid to be alone. There for you stay together even thou there is no real feeling. That's how you know when it's over.
