In my situation, I have an 11 yr old and a 10 mth old. My baby would most definitely drown without my help, the 11 yr old might make it on her own. So I would have to help my youngest since he would have NO chance of survival on his own. But I think that would be the worst thing that could happen to a mother or father. I do not know that I could live with having to make that decision after the fact. I could not imagine life without both of my children.

Hey, you know, a woman from America had to make that choice. She saved the younger one. Amazingly, though, her other child managed to survive, too!

It happened in Asia to a woman. I've seen on tv. She let the older child go and later they've found him alive. I can't even think about it.
