I absolutely think that this could be true. One of my favorite aspects of the show is how they incorporate the mythologies from so many cultures into their plots. It also makes the Goa'uld a more 'believable' enemy because the writers have made such a close connection to the myths of Earth and the history of the Goa'uld, making it easier to think that they could actually be real. If you have a strong background in mythology and ancient civilizations, then it does make the show all the more entertaining, because they don't just use the names of places or gods, they actually get them right down to the last attribute and detail. The show also allows us to ponder the fact that maybe the answers to some of Earth's mysteries that we've been trying to solve are out somewhere in the Universe waiting to be uncovered. To conclude, I think that Stargate provides us with a unique perspective (and very plausible theory) as to the mythology and development of some of our civilizations on Earth, and shows us that we may have to look beyond our own planet to find these answers.

That would be awesome! But I've been to the set and I can tell you it isn't real. :( But you know there were those two episodes Wromhole Extreme and 200 where they explored the possiblility that a tv was being used so if the stargate was discoved they could say it was just the television show. I have also met someone that has been to Cheyenne Mountain and they said there was no Stargate.

between the terrific appeals to this tutor is that there are an excellent style of issues that are "yet we don't probable comprehend, so this could have befell as a substitute". in specific circumstances the technology is a sprint dodgy, in specific circumstances the historic previous and mythology basically a sprint skewed, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's entertainment and between the main extreme factors of a telling a stable tale (relatively technology fiction) is to ask "what if?" Does the Stargate exist? no longer likely as that's considered on the tutor--nonetheless which would be cool on an excellent style of stages--however the thought extraterrestrial beings visited Earth to chanced on the 1st super civilizations is an previous one, purely properly-revisited a week with the aid of my well-known television tutor.

No, they would do their own special effects out of sheer laziness, and you woud notice that they were too realistic. Any civilization that would invent a Stargate is inherently lazy. Look at us, and we've only just now reached the Hover-round/Segway phase.
