Monta ellis, Kevin Martin, the good behaviour of ron ron, how well the grizz are going just joshing, CP3, bulls and their lack of armoury, and who would you have as the one who should be an allstar but won't due to the veteran factor, the so-called elton brand or sam cassell award.

Im surprized by Gerald Wallace's slow start. I am surpized the Magic are doing well as they are and that Dwight Howard is playing like a beast. I knew he was going to be good this season, but not this damn good! Also, I'm surprized Ben Wallace hasn't put up better defensive numbers in Chicago..

David Stern's stance on the new ball, most of the players hate the new ball and the NBA League did not ask the players input before the season started. As far as players Melo Anthony and Michael Redd has suprise me. Yes both of those guys are the #1 scoring options on their teams, but I am suprise how they lead the league in scoring so far. Just my 2 cents.

Lakers start.
No picked them them to do much more than scratch out a 7 or 8 seed at best, hovering around 0.500 all year.
I don't think there was anyone who expected Kobe to cut his shots back and defer to Kwame and Bynum of all people.
I don't think they'll win the west, but they are much better than advertised.

I didnt think Adam Morrison was going to be such an impact this year. I am also suprised with Tony Parker being able to hit the outside shot.

I'm surprised by Miami's slow start.
And I know I shouldn't be, but I'm surprised that Rasheed Wallace AGAIN leads the league in technicals. The penalties this year are really harsh, leading up to 1 game suspensions. I didn't think he'd be that stupid to not change his ways.

my biggest surprise is the denver nuggets, carmelo anthony steped up big after being moved to the power position... the cavaliers are dissappointing because they are arguably the best team in the leauge... not to mention the new york knicks! how many good players do they have? 10 ??
