I like guys with tattoos not too many though , my BF has a cool one on his right shoulder. I have half a tattoo on my butt , it hurt so much I wouldn't let the guy finish, it was supposed to be some Chinese symbol

I don't have a tattoo anymore - surgically removed. It was on my left shoulder and it was a small ladybug inked into my skin when I was 19 years old. I found it difficult to dress formally and during moments of intimacy it was very distracting for my partner to say, "What the hell is THAT?" I think that the artwork of a tattoo can be very beautiful, but in the long run it's a matter of self mutilation, isn't it? Some tattoos on young people can be attractive if subtle in appearance. As one ages the skin loses elasticity and the artwork becomes faded and malformed simply because of the aging process. So.... to answer your question in one word; "Unattractive".

Have two. The left arm a native American tattoo of the moon with a bear and eagle with a feather coming down making the claw of the bear. On the right are a heart shaped in barbed wire with a sword going through it and a drop of blood from the sword tip with the cross in it. The banner across the top is Forsaken and above that is (in writing) Forever Alone.

I agree with Salstick.. they have to be discreet and cute, none of that barbed wire running from your neck to the tip of your toes circling your whole body type of thing... thats gross... a cute lil rose or butterfly or dolphin or whatever u fancy, even a cm of barbedwire or thorns is alright..

i personally dont have any coz the time i decided to go and get one, it was preached about at church and although i cant remember the verse, it is against the word of God to have markings on your body - oh bummerr... but if it wasnt written down i'd probably have one on my shoulder or ankle..

Unattractive. That's why I finally decided not to get one. I've thought about it for a while and almost did it once. My sisters have them. I know everyone has them now, so after thinking about it for a while I decided it'd be more unique to be unmarked and bare and smooth all over...mmm......grrrrrrrr!!!

So now, it's not so sexy anymore. They're too common. Even the craziest most personalized ones are dull amongst all the other personalized ones.

is dependent however usually I suppose tattoos are more commonly trashy/unattractive...I bet if it was once small and hidden and had a specific which means to the character, it would not be that unhealthy...however I suppose all people has their personal tastes, so a few men could suppose it was once gorgeous and a few would not.

No - I do not have one, don't want one (I did at one time when I was younger).

I myself personally do not like them. But I do believe it is an intensely personal choice, like ones religion and should be respected (their choice to have one, not necessarily their choice of tattoo).

One should also understand there is a consequence to that choice - you can be denied a job because of it (I personally know of several). I've also working with elderly persons who have had them and aging does not generally enhance them, if you know what I mean (UGH!!).

If you don't like them, you don't have to get one.

I have 3. A rose entangled in barb wire on my right ankle, that was just because I wanted that.

And a cherub sleeping and a heart with angle wings on my left. They are for my kids.

In my opinion, unattractive. I like to keep things natural. Besides I get bored looking at the same thing all the time, and a tattoo is permanent.

Thirty years later I'd be like, "Oh look! It's that same tatto!...-_-...ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz........."
