Due to a house move i need to reluctantly sell my 3 sugar gliders (Mum & Dad 18months and baby 7months old), but i have no idea where to sell them as they are quite specialist.....Any suggestions or even SENSIBLE offers sent to ciclid@hotmail.co.uk (collection from Farnborough, hampshire)

ps- please don't suggest ebay or local newspapers!
Pss- i am also not going to just 'give them away from free'

AHA West London Models not the right place then! You should have explained more clearly and saved everyones time.

Harlington Pet stores High Street Harlington may well know or buy them as they do deal in some exotic pets. Or Heathrow Garden Centre.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but for the most part isn't the "animal spirit guide" rather new age? The acceptations being those tribes the new agers took the concept from, and probably warped it. Honestly, you'd be best to be honorable to your Cherokee heritage then and find out if they are or are not a Nation that has the "animal spirit guides" and in what way, before accidentally jumping onto the new age band wagon.

Yeah you are right on with not giving them away. You want to make sure they go to a good home and thats good! Find a vets office near you and tell them you have them up for sale, they might have the number of someone that can help you.

I would recommend going to http://www.sugarglider.net - it is a forum with many sugar glider owners in the US, UK and many other areas. They have a classifieds section where you can post gliders that need rehomed, or you can connect with others in your area to see if they know of good places to post flyers. People on that forum have been VERY helpful to me, and I even adopted a glider from a lady I met there.

Good luck in finding them a good home!

Put them on Petfinders.com-it is a free service and you can sell them on there, just be careful though their are some scammers on there, interview the person first to make sure they will have a good home. Ask your friends if you could keep them when you stay with them-instead of getting rid of them.

You could try www.preloved.co.uk. You can advertise anything on there, lots of pet listings. Can you keep sugar gliders in a similar cage to Chipmunks?

I'm always really confused as to why people get rid of their pets when they move house? Will you put your kids in care when you have any and move house? I've moved house, lived all over the world and always taken my animals with me.
Why not just nbe honest and say "I'm now bored with my pets and don't want them any more. I want to get as much money for them as I can".
You don't want to advertise them in local papers, you don't want to put them into a rescue cos you won't get any money for them. It is illegal to sell animals on ebay so what other options do you have?
Where did you find the advert's for the ones you have? Advertise in the same place you saw the advert. Otherwise, since you refuse to consider local papers, I don't know what to suggest.
