How many leave college EARLY? Most of those players never go back to graduate. I mean you don't have to get enough credits to graduate before you can go to the NFL. I know they are a great team and that means they are the type that can usually get picked up by the NFL so they jump ship as soon as they can so that they won't lose out on how good they are projected when they have a good year. Not saying that 30% is good but let's look at ALL angles.

Its not as easy as you think dedicating yor life to the team for 4 years and being a full time student
Its not easy at all

I'm in college and I'm working
even I don't have alot of time to study

immagine going to class going to intense 2 practices (not includeing weight lifting) then coming back home tired

and alot off them will be millionaires anyway
I doubt a guy that goes to the best football team in the country and has NFL potential will be completely focused on school work

It's sad that so many of these DI college football players treat college as a stepping stone to the NFL..and do you think Jim Tressel cares about his players graduating? Hell no!! He's hired to win football games...when did academics take the back seat to sports in college? I bet colleges could do away with classes and make money off athletics..just make it the NFL Developmental League

Maybe 30% of their players will graduate because only 30% of them are SENIORS ready to graduate. Ever think of that?
