Nottingham Forest (my favourite team) & Notts County, are just seperated by the River Trent, but in the UK, Dundee and Dundee United are the closest as they are just across the road from each other

You mean which have the closest stadiums to each other, yeah?
Notts County and Nottingham Forest are extremely near..maybe only about 500 yards apart, with the River Trent between them.
Liverpool and Everton are pretty close...either side of a large park.
Chelsea and Fulham are only about five minutes drive from each other.
The two physically closest in the whole UK are in Scotland, where Dundee and Dundee United's grounds actually back on to each other.

As the crow flies....
In England, Nottingham Forest and Notts County are only seperated by the River Trent.
In the UK, Dundee and Dundee United are right next to each other and are the closest.
In the Premiership, Liverpool and Everton are separated by Stanley Park and are the closest two.
