Usually most doctors will advise it takes up to three months for your body to adjust to a new pill and become regulated. It sounds like you've been on this pill longer than that if you've had nine packs (I'm assuming each pack is a month's supply). Sometimes being ill or being under extreme emotional stress can affect your period. I am not sure why you'd miss your period last month unless 1. you were ill or extremely stressed, or 2. you became pregnant. Is there any chance you may have skipped a pill or is there any chance you could have been pregnant? That would be my concern. The concern would be if you could have been pregnant, and now possibly miscarrying. It would be very fast for it all to occur, but it is a possibility if certain factors occurred. I would advise you to call your doctor and discuss the matter with him/her. The other thing that they usually are concerned about is how much you're bleeding. If you are saturating a sanitary pad or more an hour, you need to go to the nearest ER to be evaluated. That is too much bleeding, and could be dangerous, and a cause for concern. I don't want to alarm you, as likely you just skipped a month for some odd reason, and now you're body is just getting back to normal. If you have missed a pill though, and you do have reason to think there could be a possibility you may have been pregnant, you really need to be sure you see or at least call your doctor and discuss it. Good luck!

I have experienced that before, but it was because I skipped my period for a month or two by staying on the pill and never taking the placebos. When I let my body have its period, it lasted for 2 weeks. Also if I forget to take a pill, my period might start up and then stop and then start again. Something like this shows you are messing with your hormones, but if you take your pill regularly and don't use it to skip periods or anything, I would go to your doctor and switch to something else. I would reccommend ortho tricyclin lo if you like taking pills, but I like the patch better than pills and the nuvo ring the best.

P.S. Yes you can store that much blood there, my friend went on Depo Provera and had a period for a whole month.

In well being we discovered that teenage classes/menstrual cycles are so snarled that it would not come each 28 to notwithstanding days. it is likewise hassle-free to have a era lasting longer than properly-known or better than one in a month. yet sixteen days sounds fairly long. i could communicate on your mom. in spite of everything, mom knows terrific.

go back and explain to him what happened or is happening. You should see if he will change the type of pill you are on, to a different pill or higher dose
