Of all the foreign players (not home countries including Ireland) who has been the best, and who has been the worst.

My alltime favourite foreign player (who didn't play for City) even tho i'm loathe to admit it was Cantona yes i know i shouldn't be saying this particularly as he played for the other "manchester" team. But Georgiou Kinklandze probably wins for me just for being a City player.

If anyone else says Dirk Kuyt i'll go spare, hes barely even proven himself yet, compared to the likes of Henry, Cantona, Zola he barely holds a candle to them

There has been an array of foreign talent gracing the premiership. I can list a few in the four areas...
Goalkeepers Petr Cech , Peter Schmeichel , Edwin Van Der Sar , Fabian Bartez
Defenders ... M Desailly , Sami Hyppia , Dan Pretescu , Frank Leubeouf ,
Midfielders... David Ginola , Eric Cantona , Karel Proporsky , Patrick Viera , Marc Overmars
Attackers... Jurgen Klinnsmann, Dennis Bergkamp , thierry Henry , G Zola , Ruud Van Nistleroy , JF Hasselbaink , Tony Yeboah , Nickolas Anelka , Dider Drogba.

These are a few but everybody has there own opinion.

I've got 3 Thierry Henry, Gianfranco Zola & Eric Cantona, by far the worst was Andrea Silenzi (he played for Forest in the 90's) and was rubbish & this is coming from a Forest Fan!

At the moment the player playing best is Ronaldo, the current greatest player? Henry. The greates foreign player in terms of both their skill and their impact on the premiership? Dennis Berkamp.

For me they both come from Arsenal. The best was Dennis Bergkamp. Had Beckham's eye and delivery for a pass but without the theatrics. Sublime ball control, cool head when in sight of goal, could beat players at will and could create chances and goals from nothing. Henry is a fantastic player but does not look the same without Bergkamp.

Worst was Pascal Cygan. Worth nine to ten points to Man utd for a couple of seasons.
