if i buy the hard drive x box 360 can i copy my games (or my mates) onto the 20G hard drive so i can play them without the disk??

No, and there is no modchip atm that allows the playing of games from the HDD like the old Xbox did :O(

No, only arcade games are dowloadable and playable without a disk. Games that come on disk, can only be played off the disk.

it wont let you copy xbox games but you can download games from xbox live onto the harddrive.
