1. Make a list of what you need to accomplish
2. Break large tasks down into smaller ones
3. Prioritise your tasks
4. Make a timetable taking into account how long each task will take and whether you need additional resources to accomplish it
5. Build some breaks into your timetable!
6. Start on your first task and keep working at it until you've finished everything.
7. Reward yourself!
Stay away from Y!A - I got up to step 5 and now here I am an hour later....

Lists are great as others have advised. I make mine out by the week. Do whatever works for you. My lists have lists as well. For example, groceries would be on the main list but I would have a grocery list (actually I have a grocery envelope & put coupons in it). I clip items to my main list as well. If I need to pick up something like dry cleaning or photos I attach the stub to the list. I make my list out by the week because I don't want to be too rigid. If I made out my list by the day I would feel defeated if I didn't do something I meant to do. Do what works for you but I can't think of one thing that works better than a list.

Make a list, write down everything you need to do during the day. And make sure you complete it. if possible, make a schedule of how your day is going to go, what time you will complete each task. This will help you stay on track. It also helps to have a planner notebook too. I sometimes start my day thinking of goals I want to acheive each day, (for example- work out, study, clean ect.) if I end up doing what I planned to do, I feel much better about myself.

Organize and proiritise.
Make a list and put the most important things on top.
The write down things that will save time. i.e. if you wrote down buy groceries and later wrote down buy milk, Add buy milk next to buy groceries.
Once your list is complete, start from the top and work your way down.
If you are unable to do something right away, skip it and come back to it later.
Break your list into two parts, the most important, and not so important...
Good Luck!
