It is possible that you could be going through menopause, some have it premature. Also a blood work up can tell you some things, it could be glandular, an endocrinologist could help with those answers but a good family doctor could help with a much more affordable price. One more thing, are you taking medications? I know folks that take certain medications and this happens, it is a form of addiction that you may have to be weaned off. Try soy products if it is a menopausal state and an herb mix you can get at the drug store call Black Choish.( I mis spelled that one.) It is in the vitamin section. P.S. I hat those sweats! I have to change clothes in the middle of the night!I am cold all the time to until I start doing things. Yes, I take medication and I am menopausal state too. After my surgery, I will get weaned off this crap!

What's your bedding made of? Is it natural fibres (cotton, feathers etc...) or is it synthetic (polyester, acrylic)?

I'm usually cold, in bed I have feather duvets/pillows and I try to keep to cotton or cotton mix sheets/covers. That way I'm warm, but don't sweat too much.

Any time I go and stay anywhere that has synthetic duvets and covers I sweat like nobody's business!

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and I can recommend SAGE to help cut these night sweats down. Without asking the relevant questions I cant tell you what the problem is and I cant ask them here. If you wish you may contact me please feel free to do so.
