If so, describe your expereince?

I haven't seen one but my mum has seen two. Once her and my dad were staying in a hotel in one of the rooms on the top floor. Int he middle of the night my mum woke up because the bathroom door was open and th elight was on even though they had closed it when they went to bed. My mum then saw the ghost of a woman dressed in an old fashioned nurses out fit walk across the room and lean over their bed. My mum was absolutley terrified as you can imagine. In the morning she told the owners of the hotel about her experience and they were surprised ebcause they said the hotle was used originally for a hospital for sick children during the war.

Yes, definitely. I have seen both my grandads and my husbands grandad. I have seen and spoken to my Dad. I work in a very old hospital and there are quite a few there - one little old lady in particular is always seen along the main corridor or in the chapel and seems to be hanging around to provide comfort to the bereaved as they are the ones who've seen her most often. Normally these experiences aren't scary, but once I was sitting in bed reading at 2.00 am and my 1 year old daughter was sleeping the next room. My door was open and I heard very fast footsteps, like those of a child, coming up the landing. I looked up and saw a small, squat figure, about 3ft tall, dressed in a very dark hooded tunic and dark trousers rush past my bedroom door towards my daughter's room. As I got up I heard my daughter whimper and went into her room to see this figure bending over her cot with both arms outstretched as if to pick her up. I walked towards the cot and the figure turned towards me, hissed like a snake and ran off towards the stairs. I don't actually recall its face but it had these really tiny black eyes. Needless to say I was absolutely scared stiff and so I picked up my daughter and went back into my room - I sat there all night with the lights on (my husband was away) - I couldn't even bring myself to go to the loo or downstairs to check if this thing was still around. I was never so thankful to see the dawn break.

Lots of people have, including I.
I saw my gram a few weeks after she died. She was night and dressing gown, starting down the hall about her usual time.
This was in a house she knew was being built but never saw except in photos. Just before she died she said that if she could just see the house once she would be ready to snuff it.
My mum felt her spirit in the new house too. I can still close my eyes and see her walking in that hall.
Gram was great. Her photo still hangs on the wall. Mum guessed she somehow made a bargain with God or the hereafter.
Charles "That cheeky lad with a tear in his eye"
Happy Christmas, Gram, and to everyone else who reads this.
P.S. Gram loved my cheekiness! True Brat spoiling, unconditional love that will live forever in me.

When i was 5 i used to talk to Mrs Woods (Ivy) she was lovely... old, caring and well not scary... she used to come out of the wardrobge area of my room and sit on my bed and just love the fact that i could sea hear and talk to her and she could communicate in the way she did with me... since then i have heard seen and experienced many many things which just sound so 'out there' when i try to explain... hence the reason that i dont tell anyone what i 'experience'..

I now work for the NHS in an old Mental Asylum... i experience things daily... even people who dont beleive have seen heard things!!!

My grandad passed when I was 2 and half years old. Yet I remember him as a child sitting with him by my bed drinking cups of tea and chatting. My mother and my grandmother say that for a couple of years every weekend when we stayed at my grandparents I would come down in the morning telling them stories about the family which they were shocked I could know. Apparently, i used to say that grandad would visit me like "rocket man" (the old tv series) flying down from the sky and we would have tea and drink. They took me to a priest and eventually after lots of "don;t be making stories up like that, it only upsets your grandmother", I stopped having the visits, but for me the memory is as any other memory. I don't remember it as any more special or different. I remember my grandfather and sitting talking with him. Only my mother and grandmothers story of what happened and the fact that I was only 2 and a half when he died which tells me he visited me after he passed. If my mother and grandmother had died when I was young too I would never had known different and probably questioned how i could remmber at such a young age..lol..

I would love for him to visit me now..

It used to wake me from my sleep every few nights. not all the time.

I would sit up and watch it march back and forth across my door way.
It was light but it didnt light up the room.

Other ones i have not seen but heard. Like footsteps running down a hallway but no one there.
or banging on windows but again no one there.. and not wind branches or reasons why something would be tapping on the glass .

I don't know, I'm sure I have seen one out of the corner of my eye, and then looked round and there was nothing there, and im also sure it was after my grandad grandad died, and I was that sure I saw his old siameze cat walk up to the patio window for a couple of seconds, and that was a week after both had died!

No, I have never seen a ghost and I hope I never do encounter one. How freaky about your mum's experience.
