It seems like everything's going wrong rather than right. The trains are always delayed, road works everywhere, tax rises etc...Whats going on?

I live in London, and the longer I do the more I hate it. It's too expensive, it's dirty, overcrowded and I can't see where all my tax money is going!!! Only the other day I read in the paper that the government is proposing to put a toll on roads that are busy which will cost £1.35 per mile. Also that they are going to put train fares up substantially at peak times to discourage people from using the trains!!! They suggest that people should change their working hours. I mean wasn't the congestion charge to get people off the roads and onto public transport? Now they want us off it! Most people have to work during peak times anyway and companies will not change that just because we can't afford to get to work. We seem to get paid the same amount in London but the government takes more off us in taxes. Oh god, I've gone on a rant now....
