ok i live in australia and i have neva ever seen anyone in a back brace ( i think they used to b pretty common in america in 60's or 70's or something) but today i saw a guy in a milawakee brace! i didnt even kno they put people in these anymore not even in america?

The guy you saw wearing a Milwaukee brace probably has scoliosis. The brace is still used for people who are not candidates for scoliosis surgery, upon proper assessment by the orthopedist. The braces will be here longer than you or me. Gudday !

It is used for symptomatic treatment.. more common is the velcro belt with a pad on the sacrum. Does nothing to correct the problem.

ah yea people still wear bakc braces or have a brace surgically put in their back to keep them straight .

if his back hurt he'd be in bed perhaps an insurance scam, that's what goes on here...or for a pain script
