Hi,

I saw some people using the term "Wet material", but donot what does it mean.
Can anybody explain what it stands for and why this name is used?

It's usually used with respect to materials that change state as they dry. Things such as concrete or glue.

In analytical chemistry, wet material means that your sample is not dehydrated. You have the option of weighing it before dehydration or after dehydration.

Like sodium.. which is always immersed in liquid like kerosene..
