I miss going into a candy store and seeing the "Matchbox" display, with all the cool cars and trucks, my Dad would buy cigarettes and see me staring at one, and ask "Which one" ?, I would say # 7 or what ever, and the man would take out the little "Matchbox" and hand it to you, it was so coool, I thought I saw "Creepy Crawlers" on TV coming back, Remember Mattel's "VERTI-BIRD" a real flying helicopter, whats some other cool toys you guys remember ?

I remember the Skip-It or Lemon Twist - http://www.timewarptoys.com/lemon1.jpg - I recently got a '06 version for my daughter, and realized I can only do it with one foot. The other is kind of . . .slow.
Big Wheels! My brother had the Green Machine, and we'd ride them until the wheels were showing the hollow part!
All of my friends and I had batons, and would attempt to become experts ~ those things hurt when you smacked yourself!
My grandparents got my brother and I a set of Starskey and Hutch guns (I could be such a tomboy sometimes!) and a Toss Across game ~ they still sell those.
I also remember my brother's Evel Knievel colorforms set ~ I think I probably played with it more than he did.
Memories. . . .
