My wife and I were married at 30 and we didn't start trying for 3 years because we wanted to enjoy the newly wed thing first. It took six months and we have our first and there's still time if we decide to have another before she's 35. It's not advisable for women to have babies after 35 even though many do. Enjoy being newly weds for a few years and get things in order before children and plan on 6-12 months for having fun trying to get pregnant.
