Okay, this may sound weird as hell, but here goes:
Whenever I think about the universe, and how BIG it really is (how there are billions of stars with their own planets and how there are probably millions of other alien species), I REALLY begin to doubt, well, basically... EVERYTHING.
Like, right now I'm sitting at my desk. I feel so insiginficant. The world around us is waaay too complicated. Everything feels like a huge hoax to me.
After I die, what happens? Will the universe still exist? Was this universe made for ME? Is there even such thing as 'space' ? I mean, no one you know has actually gone out to space.
What if everything around us is a huge hoax? (sort of like the movie "The Truman Show", but to a greater extent)

For all that we know, you may be correct. But the deeper question is; What (if anything) is the difference between 'reality' and a perfect illusion? ☺

I would suggest going fishing or even better reading some books by a writer that goes of the name of Terry Pratchett. If he cannot make you laugh and think about our universe in some sort of perspective, then compare his universe to ours and try reading another of his books.
I have thought about the hugeness of the universe and wondered if we were just pawns used for the so called Gods pleasures. I guess it worked for Hercules, Zeus and all them, but Pratchett breaks my blues every time.
The universe, in reality, is only that area in which you have an influence. My universe, as a working man is limited by the people I vote into politics, not upsetting my boss, making sure I take my rubbish home after a camping trip and trying to make this world a better place. That's it, no more, no less.

Look all around you exist and you exist as well...The exciting thing is that relatively speaking everything co exist in between other...foe example imagine a picture between a picture between a picture....and it goes and goes and goes and never stops...But the trick is even though everything is different they ar all build the same way (atoms electrons e.tc.) So what you got here is a huge system with maths that everything is part of something else to equal something else that NOBODY knows....dont feel insignificant cause while you are here yopu are part of that even tough you dont know what you are doing so....enjoy it. When you die i quess its kind of changing equtation....you belong somewhere else to another system...! But there will be propably still life...! :)

That's not so weird. I've thought about it many times and basically I've come to one conclusion: if life is one big experiement and Nietzsche is right about relgion, we all better start living life without regret and enjoy what we have now. Because we don't know... and we may never know.

The Big Bang is just one model of the universe, there are other models. Remember, to be credible, the model has to be able to explain a background radiation of 2.7K.
The simplist answer I know, and it's one lots of people don't like, is God made it. I don't like to say he made it "just" for you, but, and this is important, I believe he was thinking of you when he made it.

The universe is not that complex.
It has only a couple of types of matter (quarks and leptons), two types of energy (kinetic and potential) and two forces (electroweak-strong and gravity). It may well be that there is only one type of matter and one force at the most fundamental level.
Its just the details that get messy.

Mine is different
On my view, life is kinda of a "stage" whereby God your Grand Creator does allow you to perform your actin'(makin your own choices)q....so what you have to know here boss is ,God is the master behind all living creature you see(ofcourse i don't expect you to believe me rght away...get closer to Him and you will know better) and don't be mislead...jst like everyone ,scientists claim and only God knows all the answers to your questions...so in answer to which way after death....get the bible and get closer to God,learn more about Him....everythin' will be revealed...He made us,then what makes it impossible for Him to fail answerin your question????..none!!!
