An attack on US soil by foreign terrorists. Americans were very united after Sep 11, 2001. Remember Bush's 90% approval ratings though the attack happened on his watch?

We are divided just about on everything and the great uniter was just the opposite!
I can't think of a single issue except if we were directly attacked by another nation! NATION!!!! Get that???
The other closest thing might be NAFTA!

American, or military are not 'issue'
They will unite on pay-rise, and lower Medical cost...
U may get best issues or better issues, but theoretically, there is NO UNITY in democracy, just Majority.
So u can use that term in ur future Qs

We can unite together in recognition that we are always going to be divided about the relationship between church and state. Let's agree about the fact that no relationship between church and state is ever going to make everybody happy.

One would think it would be our nations security, but the democrats complain about that!!! So my guess is that partisan politics runs too deep and we will never be united!!!

Free healthcare for everyone, without restriction.
A government that spends $25 000 per SECOND on it`s military infrastucture, yet cannot keep it`s population healthy is doing something fundamentaly wrong in my opinion.
