Hindsight means is the understanding that you have of a situation after it's happened.

20/20 refers to vision. If a person has 20/20 vision, they can see perfectly, whereas someone who needs glasses would see 20/40 or 30/50 or something. Hope this helps.

Therefore hindsight (looking back on something that happened) is 20/20 (very clear) now that it's already happened.

Hind sight is 20 20 and that means after the fact you can see the results and exactly what happened as in 20 20 vision is the norm for eye sight.

The correct phrase is "Hind sight is 20/20"

It means that you can see perfectly what you SHOULD have done. You made a decision, and looking back at what you have learned, you realize you made the wrong choice.
