Danielle after Grandpa? I guess his name was Daniel?
How about Daniela instead? (usually pronounced dan-YELL-a)

My daughter's name came to me in a dream while just before my girlfriend got pregnant with our baby. Her name is Danika, and I'd never heard the name before (that I ever recall). I did some research and found that Danika means "morning star." Also, there is a famous race car driver named Danica Patrick. Then my favorite: Danica McKellar that played Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years and is now also a mathematician with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and even co-authored a math proof.

I have two girls. Taylor and Gabriella. I have a few names that I like....Amber, Korey, Belle, Noelle.
You could always go with something common like Melissa, Rachel, Jessica, Jennifer.
