THERE IS DOUBT THAT THE FAILURE PERIODS IS GOING LONG. BUT WE CANNOT SAY THAT HE WOULD GO FOR THE RETIREMENT. WHAT IS PROBLEMS WITH INDIAN SELECTORS THEY MUST PUT CONDITION THAT IF ANY PLAYER GO FOR MEDICALLY TREATMENT FOR MORE THEN ONE MONTH MUST PLAY THE DOMESTIC CRICKET AFTER RECOVERY AND THEN THEY CONSIDER HIM FOR NATIONAL TEAM. HERE PLAYERS COME OUT FROM THE HOSPITAL AND STRAIGHT AWAY JOIN THE NATIONAL TEAM. THIS IS WRONG.

Fans may be loosing faith but that is not the reason for retirement. He is still playing better than most in indian team. In fact Sachin, Rahul & Dhoni are batting better than others. If India can come up with 6 good & consistent batsman like Australia, then only the question of retirement comes for Sachin. Till then, no way. It is all Demand & supply. Indian team can not supply 6 better batsman than Sachin so why should Sachin retire ? No way.

Guys the problem is that Tendulkar is getting older and he still uses that heavy bat which is why he is prown to more injries now days,.He may get away in sub continents pitches but in quick wickets like ones in south africa, his reflexes are finding hard to co-ordinate with the mind, Simple science. Thats why either he has to play slam bang again like his younger days or simply start using a Lighter bat, because Sachin still holds the record for having heaviest bat in cricket, which i think he doesn't need now

Do not worry. He is a great player. He will bounce back. As far as retirement is concerned, he knows himself much better than all of us. He will retire when he thinks he can not perform. He is from Mumbai and all players from Mumbai like Gavaskar, Shastri , Vengsarkar, others retired at their peak. We asked question why they retired and not whay should not. If time will come, he will retire. Give him breathing space, he is going through lean phase, but will not last as was the case of Lara.

There is a saying that form is temporary and class is permanent.
In Sachin's case, he is a class batsman. Unfortunately he is going through a bad patch in his carreer. However, he will soon regain his form and his bat will do the talking .
