1st of all, Wisconsin can't play in the Sugar Bowl. In the BCS, only two teams from one conference can go to the BCS Bowl games. Auburn has 2 losses... Ok they beat Florida but didn't even make it to the conference championship game. Notre Dames two losses, USC and Michigan, pretty respectable teams if you ask me.

And Notre Dame isn't a "BCS" team. They are an independent.

Notre Dame's schedule was much harder than Wisconsin. They did have wins over Georgia Tech, Ucla, Penn St. all teams which were better than any team Wisconsin beat.

There is some kind of conference team limit in the BCS. LSU and Florida knocked them out. Same thing with Arkansas.

Because a conference can't have more than two BCS reps..and Notre Dame has lost only to USC and Michigan..not too shabby..however i don't like the fact that we are playing LSU in freaking New Orleans!!!

They shouldn't be but those two teams you named are not eligible for the sugar bowl . In Wisconsin case it is not fair, but Auburn? They are at best the fourth best team in the SEC behind Florida Arkansan and LSU

no they shouldnt be, the only reason they are is becasue there a bcs team, which basiclly means they go to a bcs bowl unless they completely suck that season

\/ i know they are independent , but they still are part of the bcs deal, you can deny that all you wish, but its the truth
