temporary tatoos are irrevocably such. Thus no permanency is expected of them. As for the time span of their temporariness pls refer to your tatoo parlor (there are several types)

No, love. Temporary tattoos are temporary. Depending what sort you had..........2 days - 6 weeks.

I have 3 tattoos for 26 years. One on my chest, one each on my hip.. they are still there, just some faded. They will need to be retouched if I am interested to get them back to the way it was. My uncle had one for over 40 years-It had looked faded away and lines become burry.
So to celebrate my 45th year, I am debating to get one tattoo on chest retouch or another tattoo to cover that tattoo.

If it was drawn on, they last for a couple weeks. If it was rinsed on, it comes off immediately. Those are temporary.
If put inside the skin with a reciprocating needle, it's permanent. On for a very long LONG time.

No. Hence the term "temporary". They last until you wash them off; usually a few days, Or you can take them off with rubbing alcohol or baby oil.
