READ THIS TOO:

The Qwerty keyboard (named after the first six letters on the top lefthand keys) was originally invented for manual typewriters. A Christopher Sholes invented this order to mostly prevent manual typewriter keys from jamming or getting stuck. The most often cause of jamming keys were due to two or more keys adjacent to each other being typed either at the same time or one right after the other. If you ever used a manual typewriter, you'll know what I mean.

Anyway, Mr. Sholes came up with the Qwerty design to provide a low probability of two adjacent letters on the keyboard from actually being typed one after the other. This proved to cause the least key jams on a manual typewriter. The Qwerty became a standard on keyboards since then and although electric typewriters and computer keyboards will not jam as mechanical keyboards did, the Qwerty standard still holds today mostly due to its popularity

It has been invented. When they first started trying to do it, it was more difficult than they had imagined. They have come up with one that uses both a microphone and a camera that "reads lips". This method works much better. I imagine it must be very expensive still, which is why it is not main stream. Either that or they are still getting some "bugs" out.

the man who invented the type writer must have felt it easier to type letters in the qwerty order than the abcdefg order, as for talking on the mic and making alphabet appear, well dubbing is used in cinema so this is the same as that

Because you could not type effectively if they were, and there are many programs out there that type for you as you speak into the mic. I believe the one I use is called Tiger, but I could be wrong.

at first they were in alphabetical order, but they used to get stuck together so the put it randomly. the name for the way it is now is QWERTY, and it comes from the first 6 letters from the top left

when its in alphabetial order, you tend to type too fast, the system would get jammed up..
so, its invented this way, whereby, you can have a break while typing, giving the tabs a chance on not to get jammed...
