A bond between two or more people who share some of the same interests. Loyalty between the two. Trust gets developed and stronger amongst them. Always being able to depend on the other when need, emotionally, physically etc. Acceptance and tolerance of others characteristics.

That is when an acquaintance of yours own a ship. Someone asks you "Is that ship yours?" and you say "No, that's my friend's ship." This got converted over the years into "Friendship".
