According to below link ( a medical site) no harmful effect has been listed unlike other methods where the harmful effects are listed.

So the answer would modern science is not aware of any armful effects YET.

The only Likely health hazard would be psychological impact , repurcussions would vary depending on the individual.

You're not protected from STDs or pregnancy, and it's lame. Other than that, it's not going to cause any difficulties on its own.
