Every few months I will go to bed like normal but sometime early morning I wake up with the feeling that the worst thing has happened I don't no what it is and I can't explain but i'm scared and its like i'm in a trance half asleep and the worst feeling imaginable follows me around. Then I will turn on the TV or walk around and I snap out of it. I do deal with alot of anxiety but am not on any meds for it at the moment, is this just a panic attack?

It sounds like a sleep disorder to me - perhaps an apnoea or hypnogogic type of thing (check them out on google). Anxiety can make these disorders worse. I would have a word with your GP about how you are feeling in general. You may need some sleep tests and /or stress management.

I sympathise entirely as I suffer from the same symptoms although much more frequently than every few months! The thing is, it is a good idea to break the pattern before it becomes established.

Panic attacks is fears.Quit fearing. When you fill these fears turn it around and make it happy. You know what it takes to make you happy and no one else knows..Meds will make anxiety worse I no.Breathing is what stops this. Just sit down and breath through your nose and out your mouth.Don't let sadness ruin your life and your future.Jesus would not have you unhappy for nothing.Start praying that helps the most.Satan is the one that likes you like this because you can not become who you are meant to be.Hold your head high and be proud and don't worrier about everything. It makes every body have anxiety we just have to take control.God bless you and may God shine His Light own you and fill you with sunshine and take away the darkness that Satan has surrounded you with Merry Christmas..And I am praying for you.Smile Jesus loves you ....

If you've had this example earlier than and it was once worse, then I could get a prescription from a document. Or what I do is I went to get validated for allergy symptoms and I bought identified with Allergies, bronchial asthma, and anxiousness ailment. They gave me the prescription of a variety of inhaler referred to as PROVENTIL. It's like a rescue inhaler and it is helping me plenty w/ my panis assaults. Sorry if that is complicated,.. I'm worn out, however I wish I helped.! :)

That actually wouldn't qualify as a panic attack because you don't have the physical symptoms. Chances are you were having a dream in which you felt anxious & that feeling persisted as you were waking. Nothing to worry about.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

I think it does sound like anxiety, but I also think you need to attack it from both ends- not just medicinally but mentally. What is causing this? Are you feeling unfulfilled? Is there something you feel guilty about? Or maybe there's something happening to you that you just aren't acknowledging for whatever reason.

Good luck, and take care!
