The gap between reality and expectations is the casue of frusturation.
So, in short to be peaceful, reduce the gap mentioned above.
However, this is easily said than done.
Actually inoder to become peaceful, we need to understand who we are , what is our main purpose in life and what we are doing is it really the most important thing.
For example.."when a child breaks his toy, he laments. But the father does not... reason is simple, that the father understands that the Toy is not the ultimatum"... So, similarly, we need to analyze things... but before that we should also know what is the ultimate goal..
So, please refer to the Bhagwad Gita from ISKCON... which has helped me understand the above things.
