Chanakyapuri and cheap???????? Chanakypuri is way to expensive, its home to all embassies.
It all depends where you work or study. You can find a good place in the vicinity. PG accomodation and renting of flats on a shared basis is pretty common.
But anyway localities like mayur - vihar, patparganj, malviya nagar, saket, dwarka, rohini, paschim bihar, punjabi bagh, kamla nagar are good.
