2 x 1.45 = 2.90 (bread)
3 x 0.80 = 2.40 (soup)
1 x 2.75 = 2.75 (butter)
2.90 + 2.40 + 2.75 = 8.05 (total bill)
8.05 + 1.95 = 10 (total bill + change = amount she paid)
She gave the clerk a 10 dollar bill.

Could you please leave off the !!!!!!!!!? It's annoying.

So are your questions, really.

2 x 1.45 + 3 x 0.80 + 2.75 + 1.95 = $10

So she gave him a $10 bill.
