Creative Zen Touch without any Firmware?

Question

hey everyone I was half way through updating the firmware for my Zen touch, and my computer friezed up when so i pressed the reset button to reload the computer when i tried to install the firmware again it comes up with "your player is not connected please connect you player." even though it is connected i look at the player and it was in Recovery mode v0.0.10, is there anything i can do or am i stuffed

Doesn't sound good, though I am not familiar with this particular equipment.
