my mom has a problem of bad breath and she dosen't seem to have a cure for it.she also has a problem with one of her teeth. is that responsible for this condition?

1)Drink sufficient water at regular interval.
2)Eat fibre rich diet which will prevent you from constipation.
3)Try not to skip your breakfast as empty stomach is a main reason of bad breath.
4)Clean your teeth twice a day.
You can use clove buds, fennel, Tulsi leaves and other natural mouth freshener to keep your breath fresh.

I think she should go to a dentist for the teeth problem!
As far as the bad breath is concerned, Yes the teeth may be a reason. She should brush her teeth regurlarly at least twice a day, she can also use a mouth wash and a tongue cleaner.
And most importantly, she should chew sugar- free chewing gums after her every meal. I know it may be sounding awkward but the dentist nowadays suggest this. Chewing sugar free gums helps in preventing tooth decay! It gives the mouth a good exercise and fresh breath!
She should change her tooth brush when it's brisels get a bit distorted!! Should go to the dentist for a regular check up! At least once in a month or two!

Chief Reason:

Bad odour is caused by excess growth of germs/
bacteria in the mouth.

Remedy:

Brush the teeth and wash the mouth,
as also clean the tongue
twice a day using a good Toothpaste
and fresh water
both before and after night-sleep.

Wash the mouth thoroughly after meals.

Supplement, if necessary:

Chew one or two washed cardmon at times for
good aroma, if necessary, which has good
lingering effect sans side effect. But, please
don't make it a habbit.


Special Care:

If she has tooth decay, which can cause
bad adour, please also consult a Dentist.

Since the problem affects human relations,
please take special care.

Make sure she is regularly brushing her teeth. At least twice per day, but more if it's a problem. Use an antiseptic mouthwash. Floss regularly. Diet can have an affect on breath. Tooth decay or other dental problems can have an affect on breath as well. Here is a link with some good information on Halitosis and how to prevent/correct it.

Check her for diabetes and thyroid deficiencies. Teeth problem alone is not responsible for bad breath. Tonsilitis, Gastritis and some endocrinal malfunctions causes bad breath. Health depends even on good metabolism mal function of which leads to bad breath.

Brushing teeth twice a day and using a toungue cleaner (very important) is a must. A mouthwash may additionally be used to kill germs/bacteria which is the main cause of bad breath.

Mouth odour is not a big problem. There is shortage of Vitamin C in you. What you can do is have thoes fuirts and vegetables which are rich in Vitamin C. Like Nimbu, mosambi, etc...
