I was trying to be nice and ask a serious question. It would be cool if people could respond accordingly.

Yes I am religious and feel like it is my job to uphold the bible and its ethics the best i know how.
I dont lie to the best of my ability.
But this is a serious question,
Lets say a job had a christian or hetrosexual Meeting Day, wouldnt you feel uncomfortable ? Why should it be any different ?

It is 100% legal. Companies all across the nation are trying to be more accepting of different lifestyles. If you take a look at the top Fortune 500 companies they are all pro-gay rights and offer same-sex benefits. If these corporations don't offer gay-friendly programs they risk losing what could be some of their best employees.
I understand that it might make you feel uncomfortable, but it is a proven fact people are always uncomfortable and disregard what they don't have adequate knowledge about. Take the time to learn through these meetings and educate yourself. Within time you will become less uncomfortable.

Quit being such a cry baby. Heteros don't need meetings they get acceptance everyday. Let the homos alone and get a life. You are a sissy. I'm being serious. If you are that worried about a few homos getting together then you have security problems of your own you need to work out. Maybe then you can accept a small percentage of people finding common ground and making themselves feel a little safer in a very hateful world.

Do you feel that your sexuality -- and the fact that your supervisers and co-workers know it -- is in any way hindering your job opportunities or your ability to function in your workplace?
Do you live in a state where employment non-discrimination laws include "sexual orientation"?
If your answer to both of these questions is yes, then get a lawyer.

it shouldn't make you uncomfortable, people are people no matter who they are attracted to. i understand what you're saying about heteros not getting pride days, but like someone else said we are accepted everyday and don't need extra attention to make sure we're accepted.
if it really makes you that uncomfortable talk to your supervisor or call in that day. just understand that we're all humans regardless of skin colour, sexual orientation or religious beliefs and we all want acceptance.

Why do you lie? It is easy for all of us to look up your other questions and answers and realize you are on a mission in here to force your beliefs through lies. Why not have a liars parade? Or a religious fanatic parade? Both would suit you.
