I really like this girl I met at the gym, we talk everytime we see each other. She's decent, have a job, educated, beautiful. Ive always wanted to ask her out, but dont have the nerve too. I guess I dont want to ruin a smooth acquaintance/friendship, if she says no. Tonight was different, Ive waited weeks for this. I asked her "Hey do you want to go out with me" I mean if "you're not seeing someone off course." "You eat dinner right?" She told me that cant commit to it, because she works until 9 PM. I asked her " what does that mean? " she said " she cant do dinner." I know she works late, and thats not an excuse. So I guess, what do I do now? I see her at the gym again tommorrow.. Do i still have a chance to ask her out? How do i ask her out again??? I dont want to sound pushy.. or was that it? I was just shuned in a nice way. I really like this girl...

Ask her out to lunch or breakfast on the weekend. If she says she can't commit to either of those, then you'll know she doesn't want to go out with you. You might want to wait a few days though. Just for now, carry on as before.

Some girls get more kick out of the constant being asked than they do a real date. She sounds like a girl that would start asking you , if you would ignore her for a while . Act like you could care less, and she will probably start trying to work up to you for a dinner date.

When you see her again; just say "how about a rain check on that dinner".. than tell her it can be cashed in at anytime convenient for her. just let you know when.. This way your not asking again nor are you being turned down. All you can hope for is that she takes you up on the rain check..
