How long do you have to wait to change out the studs in your ears after you get them pierced?

Go to a professional piercer to have them pierced. I would avoid the gun and going to a mall to have them pierced.

A professional piercer will pierce you with better jewelry and give you better after care instructions. Once your lobes are pierced you need to wait 6-8 weeks before changing the jewelry and for the first 6 months to a year you should wear jewelry in the piercings at all times to ensure they do not close or shrink up.

I would suggest going to a tattoo parlor. I have gotten my lobes pierced three times because the first two, done at Claire's, went badly (one time requiring surgery to remove the earring from my ear). I now have 5 piercings done at a tattoo parlor and they worked out great. It also really depends on where you are planning to pierce. Lobes can handle guns, although I highly suggest you go somewhere that doesn't use them, but anywhere else on the ear should really be done with a needle. Also if you are doing a simple lobe piercing and don't feel comfortable going to a tattoo parlor then some dermatologist do lobe piercings. Lastly, I think I remember it being 6 to 8 weeks before you could switch your earrings, but it's been awhile so just ask your piercer.

get ear pierced at a tattoo shop cause they are cheaper. Dont worry, those people are nice! It just take couple months to change the studs.

Go to the mall. They have the kiosks (do you have a Piercing Pagoda?) in the middle of the aisles or if you have a Claire's they do it too. I forget how long it takes-6 weeks maybe. They tell you all that and how to care for it when you get it done.

I believe it may be six weeks, but ask someone at the place you pierced your ears, or call a place that does it.

Tbh, i actually like boys that have their ears pierced, and it wouldnt difficulty me in the event that they had the two or purely one! purely they could be stable seeking to pull it off in my opinion :)
