I was messing around on yahoo being bored and I decided to type in my friend's names just bcus I typed in my boyfriend's name and then something caught my eye. So I clicked on the link and read the information it wasn't detailed but it listed his phone number, and parent's names. I knew that information and it was no big deal until I looked at the age and it was 6 years older than he said he was. i thought that was weird do i went to a people finder website and tried it on them. same thing. I figured it could be two things a typo on his birth certificate or he lied. I understand why he would he just moved on his own, and he's still in school maybe he was embarassed. But I'm kinda weirded out and don't want to ask him bcus he's very secretive. But I am still dying to know if this is the case or not,I don't really care if he's older but i feel like if he did lie, he could lie about bigger things. Would you react the same? what would you do? any random input. Serious responses only pls.

of course he's a man ... generally men don't lie about age thats a woman thing. And... he's very confident about who he is I don't get it. I am thinking it's a fact that he lied but it doesn't really fit who I know he is but then i could be wrong and he could have babies out there

lol I think someone's confused. This is my real life boyfriend not online, I don't meet people off the internet. we met at school and have been together for a year. I'm only 21 it would make him over ten years older than me if this site is correct. And I could lie about my weight on papers but I tell him the truth. and yes he does get ticked off when i ask him questions about him, it's like i can ask what'd you do today and sometimes he's like i hate when you ask questions because it's like fact checking. and I'm really just like no I wanted to know how your day was. He's weird but then so am i for asking people on yahoo to explain my boyfriend's actions i guess.

I'd probably listen to my gut on this one. If he's so secretive that you feel you can't ask questions questions about him that are important to you and to the strenth of your relationship, something is not right. I'd be curious to say the least, and I would ask, even if it ticks him off. If your relationship is headed somehwere good, he will be open with you and not upset by this simple and neccessary question.

Both men and women do that on the internet. You've never changed how much you weighed on your drivers license? It is a lousy thing to do but it happens. You really never know who you are talking too. If it was a dating site I might have second thoughts. I wouldn't say too much and just watch for changes in his behavior towards you. Lies and being secretive don't always lead to a happy ending.
