I have an assignment, to writte exploritory essay on "war on iraq", in this case, i would have to try oposite than what i think about war in iraq, than what my opinion is. I been searching web for past 2 hours, i cant find any articles that have a "positive view" of this war.

Is there anyone who knows any websites, or better yet provide me with some articles that i can support that "war in iraq" was a good idea.

Thank you.

There are several "points" that you could focus on if you want to highlight some of the "positives" of the Iraq war.
1) The Shiites: They are the majority in the country and have been suppressed by the minority Sunnis for centuries. The US invasion has for the first time allowed the Shiites to assume their place as the country's most powerful group.
2) The Kurds: Saddam Hussein killed hundreds of thousands of people, especially the Kurds. Had it not been for the situation after the 1991 Kuwait liberation war he would have continued to do so. The US invastion allowed the Kurds, also repressed for many centuries, to at least be free from direct oppression. As a side effect, this has made the governments of Iran, Turkey and Syria, where there are substantial Kurdish minorities, very nervous.
3) Elections: The Iraqi people have voted in mostly free elections for the first time in their history. The result more or less accuratly reflected the makeup of the country and its various groups. Compare this to the last presidential "referendum" in which Saddam Hussein recieved 100 percent of the votes. I am not kidding, 100 percent.
4) Free speech: There are literally hundreds of newspapers, magazines and radio and television stations in Iraq now. They reflect the myriad of opinions and views in Iraq. There is no censorship (that i know of) and journalists are free to write about whatever they want and criticize government officials openly, Such criticizm in the past would have resulted in arrest, torture and death. The Saddam police regulary arrested those who spoke against the regime and did things like cut off their ears or tongues. Not to mention other unpleasent things.
5) Political structure: There is now a parliament, prime minister and president, as well as courts and so forth, all with considerable power. Such a division of power did not exist in the past. Saddam was the country and the country was Saddam, There was of course a "parliament" during Saddam, but there is no need to delve much into how effective it was.
That's what comes to mind now. I hope this helps.

Check the Halliburton website. You should find some insightful information there. You're also probably better off searching for political, right-wing blogs.

I'd suggest rewording your search to look for things like schools, infrastructure, the new parliament, etc. The current administration and the news media have reported items like these as positives that you should be able to weave into your report.
