I would go for the skinny leg jeans because they will show off your shoes. Flare jeans won't let everyone see them!
Skinny leg jeans are really cute, but if you don't own a pair, you might want to wear your shoes and go try some on. Depending on your body type, you may not like the way the skinny fit looks, and you may want to go for a boot cut. The boot cuts are skinny, but not so skinny at the ankle.
It also really depends on the top you're planning on wearing with your shoes. Skinny leg jeans look great with a larger, flowy top. Again, depending on your body type, skinny jeans look great with fitted shirts too. If you have hips and you plan on wearing skinny jeans, you may want to go for a more flowing top. Skinny jeans enhance your hips and make them look bigger (at least that's Tyra says...).
I would definitely try the skinny jeans on with your shoes, and wherever you go, ask the salesperson what tops would look best with your shoes and skinny jeans. If you want to show off your shoes, I'd go with the skinny!!!

It's not necessarily the shoes that determine the fit of a jean you're going to wear. It's which fit will better flatter your body type. I'm not a fan of the skinny jean visually so I might be a bit biased, but I also find that there are few people that this trend actually flatters. A person typically has to have very long, slender legs to pull them off. I'd say go with the flare.

I think it all depends on what you are comfortable in and what is figure flattering. I personally love flare/boot-cut jeans always have, but I bought a pair of skinny jeans because I love fashion and they are the "it" jean right now. Also, the shoes make or break the style with skinny jeans in my opinion... w/ skinny jeans you need to rock the boots over the jeans or ballet flats.

I would prefer skinny jeans. The only good thing about flare is that it makes your thighs thinner. The bad thing is it makes you look like you're going to some disco dance. I think skinny jeans would match more with the shoes, and it's more in style.

Skinny jeans are very in style right now but in my opinion, they only look good in boots. So I'd recommend going for a flared style. But what about a cropped or 3/4 style to emphasise the shoes?

Depends on what size you are. But cork heels never go well with a skinny.
You're better off going with a nice skirt rather than skinny jeans.
I'd go with a boot cut or flare.

probably the skinny. I like chunky shoes with flares. I think they are trying to bring the skinny jeans back in.

Go with the skinny jeans seeing as you're probably one of the lucky ones who can actually wear them. I think skinny jeans look fantastic on both men and women--so long as they have the body for them.

I'd say skinny denims. It's been a long while since I've seen someone wear flares. Ha.
