The best salesperson I met was in Sephora (beauty store). She was just really likeable. I complimented her, and she revealed that Sephora sends their employees for NLP training! I think there's something to it.
Also, my best friend is an incredibly successful businessman. He always teaches his employees that the most important thing a salesperson can do is make the customer like YOU (the salesperson). And the salesperson must sincerely believe in the product.

A good salesperson, is someone who believes passionately in his product while selling it to you. Someone who despite all his competition has to offer, stands beside his product and says "well mine is still better!."
