i look for the best deals. i think the coverage is pretty decent with all of them unless you live in a really rural area. I picked cingular because of their rollover mins. also, for $7 a month i got free mins after 7pm instead of 9 which i thought was a decent deal too. the phones between them and verizon are similar, although i will say that verizon seems to have nicer tech support people. my mother has verizon and i called them several times for her and they are extremely nice and helpful. they make it difficult to get angry and yell at them. cingular's people aren't rude, but they seem a little "ghetto". they also seemed annoyed when they have to do something, but they do it and i rarely have had to call them. overall, i'd say go with cingular if you want to get the most out of your minutes and you live in a city where all carriers are available. if you live in a rural area, then go with whoever has the most towers and best service. Most major carriers give you free roaming and long distance now, so that rarely is an issue. i hope this helps.
