How do I play '.aa' type (extension) files?

I downloaded a '.aa' type (extension) file. But then I realised that I don't have the appropriate software to play it. Can anyone tell me which software can play this type of file and the website I can download it (the software) from ?

or search file types/extension

if all else fails, try going to the webpage for your audio player and see if they have a codex that plays that extension
