I usually try to get my wrapping done soon after the gifts are purchased. I wrap and label or tag the gift with the recipient's name. Usually 2 or 3 days before I will put on any ribbon or bows for decoration. My cats have a habit of playing with the ribbons and stuff so I do that last to keep gifts from looking llike they were wrapped by Edward Scissorhands.

I usually start wrapping gifts about now. I don't ribbon and bow them till the week before. So the ribbon and bows don't get crushed.

I put the persons name on the back / under side of the box after it is wrapped, and stack the boxes in the spare closet. Week before, I pull out the boxes, and start ribbon and bowing them - and I always know who's box it is, because I have lightly written their name on the underside of the box.

I wrap as soon as I buy them, because with my daughter being an 11 yr. old Snoop, It is the most plausible. Also, it saves me from those endless, through the night wrapping sessions, if I wrap several presents here and there, than all at one time.

As soon as I get them home -- which is easy since I'm single (no one here to snoop!). Then it is time to box them up for shipment, and I've already done that for those who are going to get Christmas Gifts from me this year.
