You must tell. That freakazoid is still out there and could be a serial rapist. This woman could be like #20 already and that sicko is loose - the next could be a six year old girl. It's time to start thinking of others and realizing that most rapists are not going to hunt you down and kill you - it's a scare tactic - you're totally emotionally stronger than a rapist. Most rapists get killed in prison before even getting to trial. YOU'VE GOT TO TELL - for the sake of other women and girls whose lives will be destroyed and women who may get killed because YOU weren't strong enough to be the fall guy. Hey, I know from experience!!! I was #12 in a string of rapes at age 17. I was told I would be murdered if I told the police. I went forward anyway - they caught him within days - he went to jail and was murdered before getting to trial but the other women then came forward when he was in custody because I was the strong one - otherwise they wouldn't have had enough evidence to convict. The other women positively identified the guy and it was over because he got the most severe consequences. He didn't even deserve a trial anyway. So, whoever this girl is - STOP - be strong - realize the guy is a freak and trying to protect himself and can do NOTHING to her.

She should report the rape to the authorities. It's hard to admit that this happened to you, I understand, but reporting the rape can prevent future rapes by the same person later. And encourage your friend to get an exam as soon as possible -- they might be able to find some evidence. She should go to an emergency room. If she won't report the rape, you do it. Stop the crime cycle.

if she knows who raped her it helps alot.especially if she's pregnant.i would suggest talking to a counselor at planned parenthood.i know there are alot of questions flooding her head right about now, and someone who deals with this sort of thing daily could shed a hopeful ray of light on the situation. public humiliation and ridicule often stops women from coming forward, but until you tell someone justice cannot be served either.good luck.i hope things turn out alright

I'm a little confused by your question, but I believe rape needs to be reported. I know it's hard and scary, but remember, the rapist will do it again if he's allowed to go free. Report it so the police have the chance to catch him and put him in prison where he belongs.

She should definitely tell because you want to get the rapist off the streets before he does it again and also so that the victim can get proper counseling to help her get through this hardship. By telling It will give the victim peace of mind too.

She needs to report it, and be ready emotionally on what the public will say and during the battle at the court, it would be hard to do but if she have the determination and courage, she will win the battle, remember it is not only for herself but for the other women as well. all you need to do is to support her all the way. jail the rapist..

stand up to the loser and tell. fear and intimidation is what allows these idiots to keep doing this. i would hound his sorry *** from here to hell and back if he did that to me or anyone i knew. this friend of yours needs to understand that he will do it again and maybe to her mother or sister or friend but more than likely he will do it to her because he knows she won't tell. she didn't do anything wrong and didn't deserve it and she needs to stand up to him if only for her own self. if she needs moral support there is you and other family or friends that would not hesitate to help her.
